If white goes bishop to d5 instead, how to follow up?
so sick of this chess guru captions best moves, chess traps, and chess tournament analyst when you can just enjoy an watch
Learn everyline, it is very helpful, or if you mess up not knowing only one line, you can probably make up something on the spot using the other lines (such as the king march) and you only studied the knight sac
Edit: didnt realize he was talking about fried liver lines and not traxler counter attack, still valid…(?)
At 7:40 you don't castle, you move QA4 and white get another pawn.
What if after Nd4 they just castle
Iโm 350 and see this very often
Now I know this. If u play with me u will loose ๐คฃ๐คฃ
3:27 why cant the bishop go to c4 here?
Literally played against this right after this video and
I actually just love the dark knight gambit more its amazing if tryed correctly
I'm not going to let those m'fers see the light of the day again ๐ก
How do you know that 347,995 players fell for this trap?
2:22
D Pawn push 2:40
-Bishop take 3:04
-Knight take 5:00
C Pawn push 6:50
Nice video, did not care for the table flips, though. Is there a stronger, less played move for white besides those two options leading after pushing the knight?
5:40 my rating is 1000-1250, good thing I learned this set up๐ I win in 10 moves against 1147 elo!
Bishop g4 should get you into a better position instead of Queen e4, if white defends smart
There is a much more efficient way to play against this, not d5 but Bc6 is the best move!
always hard to decide Traxler or d5
My guy who played Qa4+ at 06:55 instead of capturing the pawn. I was like "Oopss, this was not in the script. Now what ๐๐๐"
Very incredible
This is a terrific video and lesson. I won a game with your lesson. Thank you
The Fritz? Definitely something your opponents wouldn't study, I think they're used to seeing the traxler
Gods work
Concise and well explained ๐

This trap worked about 4 times for me. Now everyone seems to see it coming…
I always play this with black and even if my opponents donโt fall for the trap I still get some good positions. Actually I have higher winning rates with black than white which is interesting as a 1400
It's amazing! Thank you.
At 3:43, whats so bad with the knight going back to H3?
I always played the traxler as 1200 but nobody felt for that anymore I hope this variant is gonna do better ๐
Consider the following
1… c5
5:21 wheres the check?
Me rated 900 evey other player who is above me tries this on me
. ๐๐๐
If they castle???
thanks! I enjoy watching your vids! I will have to come back later and try this for sure! you are the only chess I am subscribed to on youtube ๐
I just won a game by this trick , this is really amazing.
Now my opponent has seen it
At 7:46 a better move is bishop to h3 when white castles king side because you threaten mate and to take the rook because of the pin with the queen
I tried it and won several games with this technique
You are the first person I have heard talking about how fun a position is. It's more important that the game feels fun than that my position is good.
Why b3 is the only safe square for the bishop at minute 3:27? Why not c4?
Sometimes I lose 2 rooks and it's not a big deal because they practised this and not so much more.
I prefer the Traxxler as a response. It's soooo much fun.
Not like knight d4 is a very uncommon move now๐
Thank you very much
is this only for italian game?
Hi Nelson, at 7.21 my opponent played queen to f3 as white. That leaves no good option for black. Any suggestions what black should play in such situation? TIA
You can do the traxler
After watching this video, in the very next game I got into the exact same position. I managed to play it through as you recommended and I could take an easy win ๐ thank you, great guidance!
As someone who randomly moves pieces and doesn't really form a strategy until late game…this fascinates me how there can be a strategy for opening moves and counters.
Wow
