I've only played a game of chess in an early stage of my life , it took me 4 hours to defeat my opponent and when I was a child he told me I was the best opponent he ever played, I have completely forgotten how to play Chess since and have no ambition, I need help .

  6. You say the weakness for black is he’s closed in his bishop.. but we’ve done the same thing.. so what’s the big deal?

  7. Thoroughly disappointed. Didn’t work at all – tried to trick my bfff with this and the things didn’t happen. If you had a Yelp I would rate you 0

  8. Hi, I'm an old lady who is trying to learn chess; needless to say I'm a beginner and getting my butt kicked by computer simulations. What do I do if black responds with bf7 after I move my bishop to g5? Continue to develop my knight to f3? Thank you. Great video.

  9. Question, my friend usually accepts the gambit but then decides to defend the pawn with white bishop to e6 to defend. Anyone still watching this video in 2021 have any advice?

  10. 7.40
Why wouldn't black just pawn to h6?
I'm 500 player but I cannot figure out why they wouldn't do that, the bishop will have to retreat which is a loss of tempo, plus the knight will no longer be pinned. White could pawn to h4 so you'd still pin the knight but you've traded a pawn for a bishop

  11. this is pretty cool they should make a show for this

  12. who is here —- the queen's gambit webseries

  13. A lot of people don't know it, but this is the first video ever made in history. back before pop-screens were invented

  15. Walt Jr decided to not follow in his dad's footstep, and instead, followed the noble persuit of chess tutorials. "I am the one who castles"

  20. What if blacks 3rd move is Be6 in queens gambit accepted?

  22. Andrew Emory Tate the third and son of World Chessmaster Emory Tate inspired me to learn and play chess ♟
    Top G 🥂

  23. In move eight for white seems to me the queen's best move would have been to take the rook, but what do I know?

  24. After black moves b8 to c6 wouldn't it be more sensible to move c4 to d5 the black takes d5 with e6 and white takes d5 with c3 then black takes d5 with f6 then white takes d8 with g5 putting blacks king in checkmate allowing white to take control of the centre

  25. I have a question most of the times i use queens gambit their first move is moving horse to either c6 or f6

  28. I have a question. What if black goes Bishop e6 instead of pawn b5? You could go pawn b3 and if black takes you take but then black's up a piece. Queen f3 would be a possibility attacking the rook but then back goes pawn c6. So what do you do in such a case? I think knight d2 would be the best answer or am i wrong?

  29. Mfs in this comments section watched queens gambit once, learned the opening and think they're grandmasters💀

  30. The muppets treasure island is a good movie says:

This sounds like a great move, Netflix should tell more people about it by making a show.

  31. 5:53 You say that you never want to close in your bishops, but you closed in your bishop yourself by pushing pawn to e3 as white here 1:48, effectively closing in your black squared bishop. Also, what if black moves bishop to d7 here 2:30?

  32. 6:43 what if black moves to c4 do we do the same thing (move pawn to e2 and counter with bishop)
