Always good to get new people in to chess. Thanks again for the great video Gotham!
I have seen sets with clear and green pieces as a variant; as you could expect, clear moves first.
Me after watching the queens gambit:
Thank You for the info!
Can anyone suggest some best books & games app for learning chess? I would happy of your kind suggestions 😊😊
I’ve started playing chess when I was seven but I haven’t played in a while. I also have this crush on a guy and I found out that he plays chess. This inspired me to learn a bit more so maybe one day we could play a game together 🙂
He was like “right?! (You got this)” and I’m like hahah no
13:24 i did that aggainst my dad when i was 7 year old, good times
"Levy, you're already confusing me. I don't feel safe." HAHAHA lol💀
13:14 i don't understand how this works, surely the pawn at h2 could move to h4 and take the queen?
Started today and I'm hooked… I never thought I would fall in love with chess.. And man it is fascinating.
Great stuff! I’ve been playing on a coaching app for a few weeks and this video helped add The next layer of understanding. There is so much info in here, but it down to something that I can understand. Thanks for the effort in putting this together!
Think u for teaching us how to play yall game…Black man & check mate is coming soon my guy!!!!!!!!!!!! Trust that
I like watching you explain.
My dad taught me to play chess when I was a young boy 3rd/4th grade, after about the 4th time I beat him, and he didn't want to play anymore, same with playing pool.
Thank you so much now I can play chees
I've been watching your videos in an attempt to become a better player. My kids love chess (7 and 9), and I've been wanting to improve to teach them. How do you go about identifying what a person might be trying to accomplish mid to late game? Certain games I study it is very apparent to me and others it's not.
Good. Now I can lose more accurately
I appreciate you
Excellent beginners video. I learned something. I learned how damn stupid I am. Thank you. I do believe this was the first time have heard, "welcome to the 64 squares".
Waiting for the chess v2.3
Thank you so much for teaching me how to play chess Mr GothamChess.
Started listening to tate, now I'm here
I'm so determined to win this game at least once in my life
Gotham is in New Jersey
Wow, actually learnt so much from this
As a person who's very casual – I feel like knights, vs other casuals, are almost as scary in the B and G areas as the center because they threaten bishops/rooks/pawns that aren't properly defended/covered. Does that evaporate once you've played with focus for more than a few games?
Thanks from a real beginner
ty bro i understand now
wait, pieces can go backwards??
Really learned a lot. You make it seem so easy. Thanks. Enjoyed the way you teach!
