🔹 The Most Brutal Way to PUNISH Scholar’s Mate Trick –

The Wayward Queen Attack (also known as the Danvers Opening or the Patzer Opening) is one of the most common chess tricks played at the club level, which happens after the opening moves: 1.e4 e5 2.Qh5.

Of course, the main idea of White is to follow up with 3.Bc4 and checkmate you with 4.Qxf7# which is the Scholar’s Mate. Additionally, their strategy is to continue playing normal chess if Black (you) defend against the checkmate threat.

However, you should not let them get away with playing this weird, desperate attack. That’s why, in this video lesson GM Igor Smirnov teaches you the brutal way to punish this Wayward Queen Attack or early queen attack.
