In this video lesson, GM Igor Smirnov shares with you the top 3 chess opening traps to win quickly in Blitz and Bullet games. What’s really cool is that even top rated players are unaware of these traps and are likely to fall victim to these subtle traps.

Most chess players play the natural, seemingly good moves, and won’t be able to spot the hidden trap. And with such short time controls in Blitz and Bullet, it would be really difficult to play the best moves.

Additionally, even if your opponent doesn’t fall into these traps, your position won’t be damaged and you can still continue the game as usual.

  2. @11:14 white can always check your king and your bishop is gone. Horrible ideas man

  3. Chess is really pissing me off im so dumb i just know how to move the pieces i dont understand the whole number coordination and strategies 😒😡

  4. Just listening to his voice pisses me off

  5. This is why I always play non-standard openings lol

  6. First trick is fail trick.. What happened if white will 🏰 castle.. On move number 6..

  7. You refer to the f2 square as the epsilon or apsilon square?? is that right. It is hard to understand you.

  8. What if he just captures your D4 pawn after pushing up with his bishop

  9. bishup to b4 queen cant run because check ,queen has to take .
then knight to c2 check and take queen
    6:20

  10. These are terrible. They only work if your opponent makes the wrong move, repeatedly. Most will do something different and your very out of position to defend yourself.

  11. in the first tactic white will always castle for above 1200 rated players and its terryfying so dont play it

  12. are you allowed to use this is chess turnaments?

  13. Hi Igor! Actually in 1st trap (Ponzi-steiniz gambit), if 6.d4 then h6 wins a piece

  14. Is it just me or do the links in description not work?

  15. white has 14 figures left and he talks about resigning.lol lol lol,my opponents play 3 min ore more with only a king.So what is he talking about??

  16. In the 1st trap, he should castle and then it’s over?

  17. what if white castels. then you're stuck.

  18. Bb4 was the correct move, it pins the queen to the king. If Qxb4, play Nxc2 forking the king, the rook, and the queen, winning the queen for 2 minor peices, the bishop and the knight. I really know my coordinates.

  19. After QH4 white just castles and black is lost

  20. Tried the first trap as explained , my opponent just castled and I lost! What should I have done?

  21. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the solution to the chess puzzle is pawn to B4.

  22. Bb4 to pin the Queen. QxB…Nxc7+ to win the queen. 👍
