In this video lesson, GM Igor Smirnov shares with you the top 3 chess opening traps to win quickly in Blitz and Bullet games. What’s really cool is that even top rated players are unaware of these traps and are likely to fall victim to these subtle traps.

Most chess players play the natural, seemingly good moves, and won’t be able to spot the hidden trap. And with such short time controls in Blitz and Bullet, it would be really difficult to play the best moves.

Additionally, even if your opponent doesn’t fall into these traps, your position won’t be damaged and you can still continue the game as usual.

🤔 Why this course? 👇

Playing an opening based on understanding is great. Nowadays, we are swamped with opening lines that can go over 30 or 40 moves. Many of us are not chess professionals, so finding the time to study them is indeed challenging.

With this course you’ll learn aggressive ideas on some of the most common openings (not sidelines) which have withstood the test of time. Arm yourself with an intimidating repertoire based on all these aggressive openings!

From this course, you’ll learn:

✔️ Aggressive ideas For BOTH White and Black
✔️ Attacking ideas WITHOUT having to memorize lots of lines
✔️ Sound ideas that can be implemented even for classical games
✔️ Vigorously play with either colour!

  1. 1.Bb4 QxB (forced), 2.Nxc2+ forking the K&Q & the Q is lost.

  2. I tried the Falkenburg counter gambit to the King's Gambit following all the moves in the video in a Blitz tournament last night and lost. The problem with black's Bishop going to B4 is that white's Queen can respond with Q-b5+ winning black's Bishop. White can also play Qxb7, instead of taking black's Bishop which is also bad for black. If I am right, you might want to update this video.

  3. “Ok I got him man”. Your command of stoner parlance is par excellence.

  4. thank you for talking about chess strategy's and sharing with others interested with learning and improveing chess statistics.

    awesome video example 💌

  5. As a beginner player this is very helpful, i was just playing chess for fun but now obsessed with the game.

  6. Bb4, because Qxb4 can be met with Nxc2+ followed by Nxb4 after any king move.

  7. What if white castle in first trap, u are losing isnt u?

  8. Oh i got it (SO PROUD), b4, Qxb4, Nxc2+=fork

  9. but what if they dont do the move you are guessing in this…ugh

  11. Хороший шахматист says:

One of the most underrated channel on Earth

  12. As a boy i can confirm that bullet is little bit difficult … But blitz not too eazy . Because when i was starting lichess the point was 1500 . Then i just go down from 485 . Then i gained up to 756 . Im using method is Italian open chess trap

  13. The first one was BS. If the King move diagonally right and the queen took the rook. It would swap queen for queen with king out the way.

  14. What will happen if white plays 0-0 after Qh4

  15. Bishop C4, an explosive move, X-raying the king and setting up a nice lil fork 😉
