I run my king all of the time to keep him in shape. But most of the times it's to troll my opponent. One time I did the bongcloud opening, hung a bunch of pieces, and still won. He was so busy chasing my King around the board with his Queen and Bishop that he forgot about back rank checkmate 😂
I really didn’t think this would work. I watched this video last night. Then, today, I threw away a completely winning position and entered a lost endgame. I ran my king up the board and watched in awe as my opponent blundered a rook, 2 pawns, and allowed me to promote before finally resigning and (I assume) breaking his phone in half. I’m perplexed.
I think the back rank mate should added.

I once wiped the board with my king. I lost all my pieces, opponent had 2 rooks 2 bishop 1 knight, i ran the king like a mad man and captured both bishop, the knight, and then got mated. But hey it was fun

I like how when it playing and in the end I’m down all pieces and the opponent has multiple pieces like a king and a rook, and they end up loosing the game cause they don’t know how to deliver a checkmate

Fantastic Levy! We beginners mostly lose most of our games because after castling we just leave the king status quo and give the opponent a fixed target to go for. But a moving target! As you have amply demonstrated that’s another ball game! Loved it!

Today I, a 300s elo player, faced against a 500s elo player, literally lost all my pieces except my Pawn and my King which were left to go up against their 2 Bishops, their knight, and their Rook, I employed this tactical strategy for the first, and I somehow managed to get the enemy to blunder a stalemate despite having the overwhelming advantage. Thank you Levy, very cool.
