"Wrong bishop"
~Levy 2021
12:13 isnt the best thing to do for white is try to castle queen side?
You know levy I came to watch your traxler video 5th time now…..like….people fall for this trap so much and many don't…sometimes I get checkmated…And when I do I always come to watch back this video ….and you know what I am still learning from it….There is so much to chess…Love Your Videos ❤❤
I watched this VIDEO STARTED RAPID 10M AND TRAXED A GUY not quite but i mated him anyway im a 501 rated player if u can give me tips ill be grateful tell me if u want to see the game.
Just played this counter attack and opponent didn't take the bishop! lost my queen in the process… Still got the win though. Any suggestions for if they don't take the bishop with king.
Cheers
When I play French, my opponents usually stop and think at move 2, because fried liver is no longer possible 😂
I would blunder all those mates. I am 1100 & played (and won) a game where I had Mate in 1 FOUR consecutive moves & I just kept checking around & taking material.
Hi. How is it a checkmate at 2:04?
4:14 isn't Queen f2 Mate??
Anyone who's watched Levy's traxler course knows how chaotic this opening can really be
You seriously gotta memorize like 15 moves and they all win its insane..
I watched this played a game and litterly mated white in 9 moves thank you bro
I literally saw this video today like 10 hrs ago… And just now i failed this exact line cause i forgot what i had ro do losing the game…
why would anyone play this as black?
7:20 naught America 😅
What if they castle or just do any proper defensive move after you Bc5? How do you stop the horse after moving the bishop if he just acknowledges the threat?
I feel like this whole counter attack is based on opponent going Nxf7 right after Bc5 but if they don't you still get friend livered
6:25 he's
+6 and after he takes the bishop it's +9 after you recapture it's +0 for both and how the fuk is equal position winning
Lol
8:17 the best move here for black is actually Qe7, although Qc5 is still good. Qe7 forces a draw as white must play c3, d3 or h3. The simplest draw is after c3: Bg4 Qa4+ Nd7 Kxf2 Qh4+ Kf1 Bh5 cxd4 Qf4+ Ke1 Qe4+ Kf1 and a repetition after Qf4+. On the lichess database, no one has played 14. Bh5: in all 3 games Qf6+ was played, but after Ke1 Qh4+ g3 Nf3+ Kf2 Qf6 d4 (preparing to sacrifice the bishop on f4 after a discovered check with the knight, which makes the black pawn stop black’s attack – the white king will be safe enough and will be up a rook, so will win)
What if white castles
Thank you so much for the video, it’s saved me so many games
You can just prevent knight taking pawn on f7 by playing nh3 or pawn h3 before the knight came to g6
Anyone knows how to follow up after queen H4 in minute 7:07? I'm thinking white can just block with pawn G3 and leave you with your queen and knight under attack
After …Bxf7+ instead of …Nxf7 then …Bb3 whaddya got? Nuthin'
2:48 how is that a giod position. Tge queen can just take the night and then there is no checkmate
Me writing down every line
Probably levy says us to not play fried liver
I won using this method! thanks man (~ ̄▽ ̄)~
Used this trap today… was going really well then I missed a chance to take their queen… then blundered my own Queen twice and lost. I was livid with myself 😂
Why the hell is the bord messed up😠😠😠
I've won every game against fried liver so far with this counterattack, thank you so much Levy
Hey you forgot the line
1e4 e5 2 nf3 nc6 3 bc4 nf6 4 nc3 nxe4 5 nxe4 d5 which is completely wining for black
i realize it is important to write a note but sadly i cant write chess, now i need a video how to write chess
This is one of the most rewatched videos on GothamChess
my opponent played Ke3 and then Rf1

what is "basically a checkmate"" king can take the pawn on d5, or the bishop can…
Just tried this for the first time, and the opponent resigned after I won their queen at 12 moves, less than 2 minutes
Edit: Also played a brilliant move
amazing
I just watched this video… started a game, and the opponent goes for THE FRIED LIVER. I WAS FREAKING OUT! And then I played THE TRAXLER, BISHOP TAKES f2 CHECK, the king took the bishop and… KNIGHT TAKES e4 CHECKK! KING TO e1………. A couple moves later, won the game by resignation, Thank you Gotham Chess!
Why can the Bishop f2 not be captured? 6:48 in the video.
